Volumes of University of Mississippi yearbooks printed between 1897 and 2013 can be viewed online, thanks to a recent project that digitized the books for archival purposes. Library staff worked directly the LYRASIS Digitization Collaborative, a Sloan Foundation grant subsidized program that has made the process easy and affordable for libraries Funding was also made possible by the Gerald Walton Endowment. Walton, provost emeritus for the university, has also served in leadership positions for the Friends of the Libraries. Researchers can choose from a variety of formats, page through a book choosing the “read online” option, download a PDF or search the full-text version.
